Danya began working at Mt. Auburn Associates in July 2020. His recent work includes contributing to the evaluation of the Center for Community Investment's Connect Capital initiative and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Invest Health initiative. He is presently involved in a project for the Chief Officers of State Library Agencies/Institute for Museum and Library Services' Measures that Matter initiative and several evaluative projects with sites focusing on workforce development, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Working Cities Challenge in Connecticut and Working Communities Challenge in Vermont, as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas's Advance Together initiative. His responsibilities include administering surveys and analyzing survey data, leading and participating in interviews, and conducting other research to support the firm's projects.
Danya graduated from Colby College in 2020 with a B.A. in Urban Studies with a concentration in Cultural Geography. Danya has experience performing social science research and publishing writing as a student, and he also has past experience working within the housing, economic development and policy realm. He is particularly interested in urban planning and redevelopment, housing policy, and qualitative and quantitative research methods.
